PRODUCER: REEBOK PUMP X FUTURE
MODEL: INSTAPUMP FURY "OVERBRANDED"
Reebok Instapump shoes debuted in 1994 as the flagship model of the whole Pump series! An important feature of the shoe was not the Pump system in the forefoot and tongue, but the whole system of foot stabilization devoid of binding. The stabilization and fit was helped by this inflatable front panel, called InstaPump! Through an interesting, somewhat aggressive "design" and low weight, the shoes were a big success in Japan! In Europe, they were a real treat for collectors and "rarity" only for experts. Instapump sneakers were resumed very quickly, in 1996, under the abbreviated name Pump Fury. They were enriched by a well-known at the time Hexalite technology in front of the midsole. They became more comfortable because of it, characterized by a very good stabilization and traction of the foot while running, keeping comfort and cushioning. Instapump Fury shoes have been so far produced in many colours and collaborations, among others with Chanel! Insta Pump Fury "Overbranded" is the first work from the collaboration of Reebok and American rapper Future. It's not hard to see that the designers liked working with representatives of precisely this genre of music. We have ,for example, lasting for quite some time, a collaboration of the brand with Kendrick Lamar, or examples from the past - Jay Z and Ice Cube. Reebok x Future Insta Pump Fury "Overbranded" is a project very simple in concept. White silhouette was broken with contrasting black details, the most prominent of which is a print-resembling vectors characteristic of the brand, covering the entire side of the upper. Men's Reebok Instapump shoes have an upper made of textile material, supplemented with details of natural leather and synthetic material. A form resembling a sock in shape is equipped inside with a textile lining and a removable insert. On the heel and tongue there are textile loops, that help in putting on of the shoe, which also have reflective elements. Midsole is created by EVA foam with the aforementioned Hexalite system, while the outer part there is a wear resistant adhesive rubber.
